Repaso antes de ir de vaje a Brasil

Since we know that traveling for a wedding, especially one in Brazil, is a unique experience, we’ve put together some travel reminders and a few tips to help you get the most out of our three-day event.

Just a reminder that we’re always available to help via the wedding group chat or through private messages.

First, here’s a checklist for your trip to Brazil:

  • A physical credit card just in case, especially important if you plan to rent a car.

  • Your formal wear and essentials in your carry-on luggage, just in case your checked bag goes missing.

  • An eSIM; I recommend MOBIMATTER, it’s one of the most affordable options and works great everywhere.

  • Travel insurance; I recommend SwissCare, they offer great value for what you get.

  • Some cash for currency exchange is always handy, though not strictly necessary.

  • A coat or jacket, since it’s winter in Brazil (and across Latin America).

  • A physical copy of your vaccination certificate. They likely won't ask for it in Brazil, but it’s better to be safe.

  • A portable power bank to charge your phone while you're out and about.

  • Your personal medications. We hope you won't need them, but it's best to have the basics with you just in case.

  • Toiletries. It’s not uncommon for hotels in Brazil *not* to provide mini shampoos or lotions, so it’s always good to have an emergency supply with you—especially your toothbrush, haha!

  • Sunscreen because even though it’s winter, we get plenty of sun in Latin America (thank goodness).

Now, here’s the checklist for the wedding events:
  • White clothing for the welcome party on Thursday.

  • Comfortable shoes for the wedding.

  • A comfortable outfit for the wedding, and, if possible, a shawl or something similar for the evening.

  • Comfortable clothing for Saturday’s activity.

  • A towel for the boat trip.

  • Swimwear for the boat trip.

  • An appetite ready for great food all weekend long.

  • An open heart to share this experience with us.
